Dirty Pop!
Over the past 3 years, Box Studios has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented artists in Vancouver. And so with the help of MJ Ustaris (MJ from Around the Way) and SP Williams (Urban Collective) we are putting together our biggest show yet!
CHARITY
We are trying to raise $600 for The Intermediate Remedial Program In the Strathcona Area of East Vancouver. 10 youth, aged 8-13, who suffer from neglect and abuse, who struggle in school with anger management and behavioural issues have been selected for this program with the intent of reintegrating them back into regular classrooms.
We are hoping to start an art based therapy workshop with these students. Working in a facet of art mediums with one simple objective: Hope.
9 artists will be given a canvas and asked to work their magic. These 9 pieces, or “The Box Set” will be sold/auctioned off with proceeds going to the above cause.
Art, Dancing, Live Music, Dj's, a Cash Bar, and a Great Cause! What more could you ask for! If you missed Beyond Wonderlnad, this show is put on by the same great people!
